Jeff Wilcox Foundation Hosts Poker and Trivia Tournament for Gilda's Club

The Jeff Wilcox Foundation selected Gilda's Club Kansas City as the charity recipient of its fundraising efforts in 2010. The Jeff Wilcox Foundation was started in 2006 by those who knew Jeff Wilcox, who passed away in September 2005 at the age of 35 from Giloblastoma Multiform. Current initiatives are to promote academic excellence through scholarships and to further cancer research through direct funding of critical research projects. The foundation holds a Poker & Trivia Tournament each year as a fundraiser in different parts of Missouri. This year the fundraiser was held in the Kansas City area, at Vesper Hall in Blue Springs, on Saturday, March 6, 2010. For more information about the foundation, click here.
