Gilda's Club Kansas City Participates in 2010 National Cancer Survivors Day

On Sunday, June 6, 2010, volunteers and staff of Gilda's Club Kansas City participated in the 25th annual Kansas City Celebration of Life Rally as part of National Cancer Survivors Day. Hundreds of people from across the region attended and were treated with a performance by the Kansas City Marching Cobras. This year's Richard A. Bloch Cancer Survivorship Award was presented to Len Dawson, Kansas City Chiefs legend and sports broadcaster.
The weather was perfect, and we met many wonderful cancer survivors and their family and friends as they visited the Gilda's Club booth. Thanks to all who stopped by!
