Sign up for a New Member Meeting today!

 

You qualify to become a member of Gilda's Club Kansas City automatically when your life is touched by cancer.

Membership is a two-step process and is always free of charge. First, make a reservation and attend a New Member Meeting, our general orientation to the Clubhouse. This is a one-time meeting for anyone who is interested in joining Gilda's Club. Scheduled several times per week, the New Member Meetings can include any number of prospective members as well as a facilitator. You will hear about our history, our mission, our philosophy, and our program. You will also have an opportunity to introduce yourself and to meet others who are affected by cancer—including family members and friends.
 
The final step is to meet with a staff member, at your convenience, to decide how you want to be involved at Gilda's Club Kansas City by creating your Customized Membership Plan (CMP). This process enables you to shape and structure your social and emotional support by making the program choices that suit you best.
 
Then, you begin involving yourself in the Gilda’s Club community of support-- whether in support groups, educational groups, workshops and classes, social events or a combination of everything!
